Stone Chip Repair Kits

The easiest way to fix a stone chip is to fill it with paint matched to your car's factory colour, then level it so it sits flush with the surrounding paint. Every Colour Tubes kit does exactly that: choose your car's make, model and year, or its paint code, and we mix your colour and deliver it Australia-wide.

How to fix a stone chip

1. Clean the chip with a pre-treatment wipe to remove dirt, wax and polish.
2. If you can see bare metal or plastic, apply a very small amount of Clear/DTM Primer and let it dry.
3. Apply the colour with the squeegee or a micro brush, using as little as possible. Let it dry for 10 minutes.
4. For deeper chips, add the clear the same way to build the repair up level.
5. Wipe away the excess with Finishing Solution for a smooth, seamless finish.
