1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use colourtubes.com.au or buy from Colour Tubes ("we", "us", "our"). We are based at Unit 2/142 Tennyson Memorial Ave, Tennyson QLD 4105. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy also apply to your order.

2. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

3. Our products and colour matching

We mix every order to the paint code you give us, here in Brisbane. Please check your paint code before you order. Our Find Your Paint Code guide shows where to find it.

A car's paint can change over time from sun fading, age or a previous respray. Colours on screen can also look different from the real paint. If your colour doesn't match, please contact us and we will work with you under the colour match section of our Refund Policy.

Matte and High Gloss clears are available on request. Leave a comment in the order notes at checkout.

What comes in each kit is listed on its product page. Our kits are made for stone chips, scratches and small areas of paint damage, not for repainting whole panels.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. The price you pay is the price shown when you placed your order. If a price is clearly wrong because of an error, we will contact you before we process the order, and you can cancel it for a full refund.

5. Orders and cancellations

We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable or we can't confirm your paint code. If we do, we will refund you in full.

Because we mix paint to order, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your order. Once your paint has been mixed, we may not be able to cancel it, but we will always work with you to find a solution.

6. Shipping and delivery

Orders placed before 12pm on a business day usually ship the same day. Orders placed after 12pm usually ship the next business day. We ship Australia-wide. Delivery times depend on the carrier and your location, so they are estimates only. See our Shipping Policy for details.

If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us. We will work with you and the carrier to sort it out.

7. Returns, refunds and colour match

Our Refund Policy explains returns, refunds, faulty products and colour matching. It does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Using our products safely

Please read the instructions and product labels before use. Use our products in a well-ventilated area, keep them away from heat and flames, and store them out of reach of children. We recommend testing on a small, hidden area first.

Light surface rust should be treated with a phosphoric acid rust converter before painting (we can supply small amounts on request). Your result depends on the condition of the surface and how the product is applied.

9. Website content

The content on this website, including our name, logo, photos, videos and text, belongs to us or is used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse it without our written permission.

10. Reviews

If you leave a review or comment about our products, you allow us to show it on our website and social media. Reviews must be honest and about your own experience.

11. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our products.

12. Links to other websites

Our website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
