Tube mixing - whilst our paint tubes do not require mixing as a rule, some tints bleed out a little, this is the best way to mix it back in. It also helps to make the paint a little smoother.

Grey Tesla bonnet no clear – Simple Plus or Deluxe Kit
This video shows quickly and easily repairing some chips in a metallic grey bonnet. This one clear was added later, the clear is not necessary it does add filling and some gloss.

The clear can be added at a later date to level the repair and/or improve gloss. You can see here how the clear is milky when applied but dries clear. This clear can also be used as a bare metal or plastic primer.
There is very little visible difference before and after the application of the clear.

A notoriously difficult colour to repair you can see the colour looks dark right up till the excess is removed with the blending solution. Again the colour and clear we done together and the excess of both removed in one application of the finishing solution. This video is at a distance of about 10cm, a metre away it looks almost invisible. Sorry about the reflections….
Large scratch repair done in single application
Here is how a large scratch repair is performed. Note how even the whites can demonstrate quite a change in colour as they dry. A great easy result for a large scratch, it could be made even better with more time and finishing off with clear if a more level result is desired. The water-based dries very fast when it has airflow, here a simple hair dryer was used to increase air flow.
Finishing Solution Wipes tips
Our finishing solution wipes are great however; they have a little too much finishing solution in them and are quite wet therefore they benefit from a little squeeze before use. As shown in the video you can catch this liquid and reuse it to extend the life of the wipe.
