I may have to do a number of coats. One was not enough.

Thanks Chris! You're right - for the best result we recommend building the paint up in 2-3 thin coats, letting each dry for a few minutes in between. Thin layers level out better and blend more invisibly than one thick coat. Finishing with our Gloss Clear will also level the repair quickly and give it a factory style shine.
