Help with finding your paint code.
When we mix your paint we work off manufacturer paint code. The rest of the info can be helpful finding variations, but the colour code is the most important to us.
Below is some helpful information to assist with finding you code. These guys have some great info Red Book, you just enter all your car details, and they show what colours were available for your particular model. Most modern cars have the colour name and code in the owners manual, so it can pay to check there. If all else fails you can email us at info@colourtubes.com.au with all the info you have and a picture of your car, we can usually work it out.
You can find your Alfa Romeo paint code by looking in the inside of the boot lid or bonnet.

BMW classic vehicles have a paint code placard located on the driver side strut tower.
Modern BMW models have a placard in the driver side door jamb
Find your Ford’s paint code located on your vehicle’s door jamb label.
All paint codes for all Honda models are located in the driver side door jamb.
Hyundai colour codes are normally on the drivers door jamb. Some Hyundai models do manage to hide their colour codes in the engine compartment
Kia codes are easy to find as they are always on the drivers door jamb
On all Lexus models, there is an color ID plate on the drivers door jamb.
Mazda paint codes are found on your chassis plate under the bonnet at the rear of the engine bay.
MG paint codes are typically 3-4 letters and/or numbers printed on a metal plate or a sticker. MG-codeIt is most commonly located on the door jamb or under the bonnet.
Mini paint codes will be located on the passenger side firewall, or on the passenger side strut tower.
Mitsubishi paint codes are usually found on the firewall in the engine bay
Nissan codes are usually found on the driver’s door jamb.
Subaru paint codes can be found in one of these locations, on the door jamb of the front drivers door or on the radiator support or the middle or the strut tower.
Suzuki car paint colour codes are located on the metal plate with the VIN number. Look for the paint tag on the firewall or on the drivers door jamb
Tesla’s paint code is printed in the lower left hand corner of the manufacturing certification label. This label is affixed to the driver’s side door jamb
Toyota paint codes can usually be found inside the drivers door jamb
The decal for the Volvo colour code is positioned on the car’s door pillar between the front and rear door and will be visible when the front door is opened.
The VW paint code is printed on the vehicle data sticker, which is usually on the inside cover of the vehicle service book. The code should also be found on a sticker in the spare wheel area.
